Have you ever heard of this?

Every year thousands of brides line up at Filene’s basement  for the “Running of the Brides”, they let all the brides in at once to fight over the picks. The girls try on the dresses right in the middle of the store. With designer dresses as low as $249 you might find your dream dress at a great price. I could never shop like this but it sure does look fun.

Color of the week – white

In honor of all the snow Mother Nature has given us I decided this week the color had to be white.  I do love how crisp everything looks in white.  Although this week I wish I was at a chic white NYC wedding rather than shoveling white snow off my car.

What a busy busy busy week!  I am so happy that it’s Friday and tomorrow I have not a single thing planned.  Have a great weekend blog friends!

The rings can be a nice percentage of your budget but there are ways to get some great pieces at very reasonable prices.  The trick is you have to find a respectable online retailer that you trust with large sums of money.  No bad on eBay but I wouldn’t shop for expensive jewelry there.  Have you every tried Overstock.com?  I love shopping for jewelry at Overstock, you can trust that you will get what you ordered, they have 100% return policy and you can read reviews before you make a decision.

Wedding Dresses on ebay

I was watching Say Yes to the Dress last night and this mother kept telling her daughter she should buy her dress on ebay, of course this poor girl was mortified.  However after doing a little search myself there are currently 184,373 “wedding dresses” for sale.  If you know a good seamstress why not buy a dress that is one size too big and have it fitted, you might save some serious change.  I will warn that I saw a lot of dresses from the UK for 6 dollars, so be careful of scams.

As in I wish it would turn green outside soon

Tents

All this cold weather has me dreaming of a lovely spring tent event.  Is anyone else a little chilly?  I just want to put on my black cocktail dress, paint my toenails and toast under a grand tent.
